Engineering Students Or Film Pirates!

Tollywood is witnessing piracy menace and despite the filmmakers taking numerous precautions to prevent leaks pre and post release of their films, they are unable to stop it. Even the cops are at their wits end as most of the time, the culprits involved happened to be the insiders.

According to the latest police prevented a huge piracy scandal when they arrested 17 students from an engineering college in Guntur along with an editor based from Hyderabad. Police revealed that they were caught stealing and circulating the raw footage of the upcoming Tollywood films whose shooting are currently underway.

Rajesh, editor from Hyderabad stole the hard disk from an editing suite and shared the video footage of two most awaited Telugu films with the engineering students in Guntur. Police arrested them tracking the IP addresses. Cops revealed more arrests will be made in this case.
