Prequel Or Sequel, Both Are Risky?

Young hero Rahul Ravindran’s first directorial Chi La Sow is winning the appreciation of all for its breezy narration. Meanwhile, the director is mulling over the idea of making prequel to the Sushanth and Ruhani Sharma starrer film.

When a follower asked Rahul whether he has any thoughts of making sequel to Chi La Sow, he replied him saying prequel would be a better choice. “We’re just discussing it yesterday. Chinmayi has given me a super idea for a sequel. And I was also wondering if a prequel would be better... Arjun and Anjali’s experiences with other men and women leading up to the point of their meeting. Happening parallel. What say?”

The idea is good, but it is not an easy task to pen screenplay for such water thin subjects. More importantly, Anjali’s past experiences were already shown in pelli choopulu episodes, though Arjun spoke about his failure love story couple of times. 

Rahul proved himself to be a good writer with Chi La Sow. And he needs to put extra efforts to make prequel or sequel to Chi La Sow. But, making a fresh film with a different subject will be a far better idea, opine many.
