Saakshyam Heads for a Disaster?

Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas' Saakshyam was made with a huge budget around Rs.25 crores. World wide theatrical rights were also valued to Rs.25 crores which is a record among Sai Srinivas' films. 

Saakshyam exhibited decent run in its first weekend's run and collected a share of Rs.8.4 crores. However, the first Monday's collections of the film are quite worrying. According to trade reports, the film minted just Rs.70 lakhs on Monday taking the total to Rs.9.10 crores.

Since a huge drop of around 70% collections has been recorded on Monday, buyers and exhibitors are worrying about the final status of the film. If not the makers go for aggressive promotions, the movie might end up a disaster. 

Saakshyam has Pooja Hegde in lead actress role. Sriwass directed the movie on Abhishek Nama's Abhishek Pictures.
