Two Factors Worrying Goodachari

Success gives confidence to an actor or filmmaker. Likewise, Adivi Sesh whose last movie Kshanam was a sleeper hit is hoping to continue the success streak with Goodachari due for release on August 3rd.

As we reported earlier, they made the film on a staggering budget of Rs 18 crores to give visual treat for movie buffs in each and every frame. However, two negative factors are worrying the production unit.

Vishwaroopam 2 which is releasing on August 10th means a week after Goodachari’s outing falls under the same spy action thriller genre. So, the Adivi Sesh starrer movie may not have long run and collections will slow down from second week itself. De facto, when Kamal Haasan film is in theaters, who is going to watch a small time hero film?

The second reason is Goodachari will face stiff competition from Rahul Ravindran directed Chi La Sow which will also be releasing on the same day. Goodachari will have limited reach because of the genre, whereas Chi La Sow is targeted at all section of audiences. 

Families will actually show interest to watch clean entertainers and Chi La Sow will obviously be best pick for them. Moreover, if youth too connects with the subject, the film will become a super hit like Pelli Choopulu.

However, we can get clarity on fate of these films, only after they arrive to theaters!
