Bhagamathie Is a Flop?

Anushka starrer female centric horror thriller Bhagamathie took Tollywood and US box offices by storm and raked in Rs.31 crores share across the globe for 10 days. Also, Anushka is lauded for her mind boggling performance in the title role. 

As we know, the film scored a resounding super hit in Telugu states and is still minting good money. However, the movie's fate appeared to be tumbled down in Tamil Nadu. 

Studio Green paid a whopping amount of Rs.15 crores on the project to release the film across Tamil Nadu. This was said the next best price post Baahubali's release. Nevertheless, trade reports say, the movie collected Rs.5 crores in TN till date. In kerala too, the film is yet to reach break even. 

Bhagamathie was directed by G Ashok on UV Creations. Thaman composed tunes.
