Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's Sci-Fi entertainer 2.0 was earlier supposed to hit screens on January 25. However, due to unavoidable delay in post production work, the makers had to get the film put off to April 13.
In the meanwhile, three highly awaited big films of Tollywood Rangasthalam 1985, Bharat Ane Nenu and Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India will also be releasing for summer.
Now that 2.0 has been made as the costliest film of India, will the movie's release affect the release dates of other Telugu big ticket entertainers? According to trade experts and inside sources, nothing of that sort would happen.
As planned earlier, Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Rangasthalam 1985 may be released on March 29. The film can easily earn profits by the time of 2.0 release. Besides, it would be alternative choice for audience even after 2.0's release.
Prince Mahesh's Bharat Ane Nenu and Stylish Star Allu Arjun's NPS were earlier scheduled on the same release date that falls on April 27. If at all, 2.0 gets flop talk, the release dates of BAN and NPS will not get altered. If not, either one or both the films will be postponed to the first week of May. In fact, the makers of all Telugu big films won't sacrifice summer season just for the sake of a dubbed film. As such, teams of all Telugu Films ensure their films released between early summer and mid summer.
