Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao thanked DMK Working President and TNLA opposition leader MK Stalin who welcomed the efforts to uphold social justice by Telangana CM and for fighting for more powers to states.
The Chief Minister spoke to Stalin over phone on Monday morning and thanked him for the support.
KCR had appealed to the Centre recently in a statement in Legislative Assembly to increase reservations for SCs, STs and minorities while delegating the power to decide quota to states. While congratulating KCR on his stand, Stalin had issued a press release in Chennai on Sunday. He claimed that the untiring efforts by DMK led to the string of success in upholding the social justice and in securing 69% reservation in Tamil Nadu. Stalin extended his support to CM KCR who is making efforts to secure increased percentage of reservations and to delegate powers to states in this regard.
