Not Sye Raa, Manam Set Is Fired

Massive fire accident at Annapurna Studios today triggered speculations that Megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming period drama Sye Raa Narasimhareddy's set was caught by fire. The news was reported by some online and electronic media houses too. 

Eventually, it has been learnt that it was Akkineni heroes' Manam set which was destroyed in fire accident but not Sye Raa. King Nagarjuna, himself, disclosed in a press meet that Manam film's set was fired. He expressed his grief for losing the set that witnessed the performance of thespian Akkineni Nageswara Rao for Manam film. 

Nagarjuna said that short circuit was the reason for fire accident and emanated Rs.2 crores loss of property. 

It is heard that some more Akkineni films such as Raju Gari Gadhi 2 and Raarandoyi Veduka Chooddham got their shootings done at Manam set.
