Caste Wars - Mahesh Babu Vs Pawan Kalyan Fans

Caste equations have been playing havoc in Telugu cinema from very early days. Though heroes and producers may not always equate themselves with castes, for sure Fans of these star heroes are divided on caste lines. Every now and then, we hear ugly news on case basted wars between Fans in many coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh connected to erection of flexi boards.

Here is one such awkward in incident reported. Some flexi boards of Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan in Kakinada area have created huge controversy and finally led to a tussle between two castes in Katranikona village of East Godavari. 

Police removed flexi boards which contained the pictures of Mahesh Babu and some local politicians erected at Subramanya Swamy temple Ganapathi Pandal citing law and order issues. When Mahesh Babu Fans were hell bent on having those flexis removed, they demanded the Police forces also to remove the flexis of Pawan Kalyan that have come up in the other parts of the village. This led to severe friction between Fans of both the heroes.  

Finally, Police department also removed Pawan Kalyan boards. Local bodies have also informed that that flexi boards will be allowed on houses only when necessary taxes are paid to Village Panchayat.
