Heroine Fees More Than Heroes!

A matter of fact is, glamourous cinema industry is male centric. We all know heroes take home much bigger remuneration than thay of heroines in Indian cinema. But then, it is just the opposite for a Bollywood film.

Padmavathi is the historical film starring Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. Shocking news is, Deepika charged a whopping 13 Crore for this magnum opus while heroes Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh took each 10 Crores only. 

Healthy news is, both Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor have no qualms to feel inferior about that. Deepika Padukone is the highest paid Bollywood actress right now and she deserves for the dedicated efforts she puts in. 

Padmavati is actually supposed to release in December this year but postponed to April 2018. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film is a fictionized account of the life of Rani Padmini, a legendary queen, wife of Rana Rawal Ratan Singh, the ruler of Mewar. In 1303, Alauddin Khilji invaded Mewar by his desire to capture Rani Padmini. So, Padmavathi chronic around happenings of those times.
