When 'Baahubali-The Beginning' registered earth shattering success at the Indian box office and collected Rs.600 crores gross, it was reckoned that it would be difficult the records were crossed by sequel of Rajamouli's directorial venture. 

But then, nothing of that sort was happened. 'Baahubali - The Conclusion' pounded the records set by 'Baahubali' and transpired the India's Biggest grosser. with close to Rs.1500 crores collections.

Several speculations have been making rounds on Rajamouli's next project for the past couple of days. 'Baahubali 3' and 'Eega 2' are the mostly buzzing titles at the moment. Nevertheless, Rajamouli hinted at during the promotional interviews of 'Baahubali 2' that he had been mulling over to do a film that would not require VFX work.

And  recently, 'Baahubali' series writer and Rajamouli's father Vijayendra Prasad adduced that his son had asked him to prepare a script that  wouldn't require VFX work. In short, there won't be any jaw dropping moments in Rajamouli's next. 'Baahubali' series films scored magnificent hits because they had innumerable 'wow' factors in the forms of graphics and high end craft work. If at all, Rajamouli directs a social drama, it would miss pan India appeal. As such, the movie can't break 'Baahubali' series films records. Else, the movie should have some highly inspiring content in it which is liked by people of all sections irrespective of regional barriers. Can Rajamouli do it? It would be a huge challenge for Rajamouli's directorial prowess!
