TSR-TV9 Awards: Sidelights

Tsr-TV9 awards event was held in Vizag yesterday. The event was a grand success with huge crowd turned up at the function. Following are the sidelights recorded during the awards ceremony.

* The event was attended by Megastar Chiranjeevi, Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna, King Nagarjuna, Krishnam Raju and Mohan Babu. However, young heroes, who were conferred with various awards, skipped the event and they include Mega Power Star Ram Charan, Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Young Rebel Star Prabhas. 

* Nagarjuna and Balakrishna shared same dais after a long time. It has been rumoured for a couple of years that the heroes had rifts between them. Nagarjuna, however, clarified that they were silly and baseless rumours. Having said it so, he embraced Balakrishna indicating they were united.

* A senior actor appeared to have given speech with jealousy on somebody.

* It appeared strange Krishnam Raju was announced five decades star and Mohan Babu the four decades star in the event. By the way, Mohan Babu, didn't receive award on stage. Instead, his daughter received the award.

* Hema Malini received millennium star award from Chiranjeevi. Her speech was not quite impressive. Further, she appeared to have a bit of pride.

* Tsr must be appreciated for organizing such a spectacular event spending every rupee from his pockets and he proved he was 'Kala Bandhu'. But then, it appeared too many stars for award ceremonies shouldn't be invited because there would be ego clashes among themselves.
