Minimum one expects from a Srinu Vytla film is hilarious entertainment. All the way from ‘Anandam’ till last released ‘Bruce Lee,’ he never changed the fundamental formula of puffing a comic treatment. Problem lied in his overused template devoid of freshness which led to failures but as a director, Telugu audiences are well aware of his capabilities.

After a siesta, Vytla is back in game with Varun Tej starring ‘Mister’ which had its trailer released yesterday. Though, response from audience and critics is on divided lines yet one area of commonality in opinion is Vytla changed his template.

At same time the star director knowing his limitations went with a minimum guaranteed formula with a properly weighted mixture of romance, comedy, family drama, emotions and action. Except a Vytla mark comedy timing bit from Varun Tej, rest of trailer appeared like a popular template tested by other directors but seemed fresh due to Mickey J Meyer music and KV Guhan’s camera.

Lack of amusement and excitement in ‘Mister’ trailer is the reason behind criticism aimed. No wonder, if Vytla just wanted to convey audience on his new ways of thinking leaving the old school, then he achieved the needful minimum with trailer. Optimistically, let’s hope that film will be on far higher standards than trailer.

Mister’ audio is expected to hit the decks on March 29th while the release date is locked for April 14th.
