Highlights of Katamarayudu Pre Release Event

Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Katamarayudu' pre release event was held on Saturday,18th of March at Shilpakala Vedika of Hyderabad. Highlights and sidelights of the event are as follows.

Highlights:

* Ace director Trivikram and TV 9 Ravi Prakash graced the event as guests. The film's cast and crew and a few other celebs graced the occasion.

* Suma has done the job of anchoring. 

* All the guests wished the team a big success of the film.

* TV 9 Ravi Prakash has delivered an interesting speech which impressed the fans to the core. "It is a common practice media houses indulging in the flattery on ruling parties. When media stayed silent on the issues like demonetization and AP's special status, Pawan Kalyan garu questioned the governments. He inspired Telugu youth with his way of approach in politics," says Ravi Prakash.

* Bandla made a rocking speech on the dais. He quoted the adages of eminent personalities such as Ballari Raghava, Tilak, Lala Lajapathi Roy, Subhash Chandrabose, Bhagat Singh and Veeresalingam and Gandhi. And said Pawan Kalyan too joined the category of above personalities. He reiterated that Pawan kalyan as his God. 

* Ali said late NTR's 'Sardaar Paparayudu' and Mohan Babu's 'Pedarayudu' were big hits and so is the fate of 'Katamarayudu'. 

* Trivikram made a thought provoking speech. "If at all Pawan Kalyan hasn't done a bit of good deed, how can he be loved by this number of people?" quesions Trivirkam.

* Pawan Kalyan extracted the messages of his previous films such as, Gokulam Lo Sita, Suswagatham, Tholiprema, Thammudu, Badri, Khushi and other films.

SIDELIGHTS:

* Shruti Haasan skipped the function.

* As usually, fans celebrated the occasion with their whistles and shouts.

* Theatrical trailer received mixed responses.
