A crushing defeat of Samajwadi Party in UP general elections has perplexed the ruling party in AP, the TDP. With just two years left for general polls in the state, there could be a political polarization possible very soon.
As we all know, Bjp teamed up with TDP in 2014 polls. The budding party Janasena also joined them acknowledging the biggest coalition. The situation might be atypical in 2019. Bjp leader Purandeswari in her recent interview clearly hinted that Bjp was mulling over to go for a break up with TDP.
Astounding victory of Bjp in UP sent positive vibes on the party to every nook and corner in India. If not TDP, who would the Bjp prefer to ally with? Going by reports of its own media, of late it's understood that YCP is eager to team with Bjp. However, it can't be denied on Janasena alliance with Bjp, subject to assurance of special status for AP.
Nonetheless, politics is one such field wherein trends get changed in every fraction of second. Todays craziest party Bjp may face immense anti incumbency in 2019. There could be interesting groups like SP, BSP and Congress in UP and vice versa. In such scenario, AP's political parties may opt for other political parties like Congress Party at center. Anyhow, we should wait patiently for interesting political friendships in 2019.
