Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej's 'Winner' hit the screens on 24th of February and garnered above average reports at the end of its early morning shows. Sai Dharam Tej's subtle performance and his hard work in performing horse riding skill are appreciated. Rakul Preet Singh was an apt choice as a sprinter. She shaped her body like an athlete for the film. Pruthvi was good at generating laughs in 'Singham' getup in the first half while Ali in the second half tried his best to entertain the audience.
Thaman's tunes and picturization of songs were okay. Jagapathy Babu as a father of Sai, villain Anoop and Mukhesh Rishi as a grandfather fit the bill. On the flip side, nothing newness was felt in the one liner story which also reminds us Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Thammudu'. The first half of the film was more entertaining than the second half.
As there have been no big oppositions for the film and it has consisted all commercial elements to serve the needs of mass and action film lovers, good openings are assured for the film and rest depends on audience how they would receive it.
