O Panneerselvam's rebellion against Sasikala has finally made him a scapegoat in the entire political crisis of Tamil Nadu. Many political analysts are showing pity on the former CM saying that he could have become CM again.
"Had OPS not revolted against Sasikala, he could have been the CM again when Sasikala was sent to prison. And he missed the golden opportunity," say the analysts. In fact, the BJP led union government played spoil sport unnecessarily directing OPS, to launch a rebellion against the AIADMK.
Currently, OPS' future appears to be bleak as he was expelled from the party. Perhaps, the only option for him is to join DMK. Even then, he needs to wait for more years to get him placed in ministerial body and that would happen only if DMK gets victory.
