'Gauthamiputra Satakarni' is being encircled by breathtaking expectations among fans at the moment. It is still uncertain whether the film might collect Rs.100 crores or Rs.200 crores share. Anushka starrer 'Rudhramadevi', directed by prodigious filmmaker Gunasekhar, stood as an above average earner at the box office. The film collected a sum of Rs.43.75 crores with its Telugu version and it minted Rs.51.35 crores including its Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam versions. 

Although Anushka played the protagonist as 'Rudhramadevi', Stylish Star Allu Arjun's reverberating performance in powerful role Gona Gannareddy was said to the reason for the film accumulating such an extraordinary numbers. Incidentally, Anushka's next film 'Size Zero' could fare just Rs.5 crores that made the difference and which made Allu Arjun's presence weaving a magic for the huge collections. 

As 'Rudhramadevi' was made as a historical entertainer and fared Rs.43.75 crores with Telugu version, this number has been set as the bench mark right now among historical films and Satakarni should cross the collections of Gona Gannareddy first.
