RGV innocently said in media interviews that what exactly happened in Vijayawada a couple of decades ago, was only shown by him in the film. However, having watched the film it is understood that following changes in the actual story were made by the controversial director.
* Vangaveeti Radha was murdered during a shop opening program. But not actually, in a settlement issue as shown by RGV.
* Radha was said to be a people's leader who was regarded as a 'Robinhood Hero' by fans. However, the film projected him as a rowdy.
* A politician's younger brother was actually indulged in many murders. However, RGV created sympathy on that character and showed Ranga as a rowdy.
* Ranga initially was elected as a corporator in 1983. He got elected as an MLA in 1985 in spite of TDP's wave in elections. But Ranga's political entry was completely shown wrong in the film.
* Two key persons one at state level and another one at Vijayawada level were alleged to be responsible for the murder of Ranga. However, RGV escaped from showing the facts.
* Interestingly, Mahishasura Mardhini's slokas were heard as BGM when Radha and Ranga were getting murdered. Can't it symbolize Goddess killing demons?
In the meanwhile, Ranga's son, Vangaveeti Radha warned RGV today that they would take action against RGV for misusing Ranga's name. It has been noticed that ever since the film got released, producer Dasari Kiran Kumar was seen nowhere. It's high time RGV and the producer to clarity the doubts of the agitators.
