RGV Lost His Bold Courage!

While no one has courage to doubt on technical/making standards of Ram Gopal Varma, who inspired lot many current generation technicians to adopt low cost film production methods but many have serious doubts on quality of his story selection and narrative process. One such is RGV’s latest controversial film ‘Vangaveeti’ released this week opened to mixed response all over.

Naming the film after ‘Vangaveeti’ family, there is an allegation by Kapu community in Krishna district that Varma sidelined Radha, Ranga stories and focused more on Devineni family heroism. ‘Whatsoever, what is the research from RGV and where did he present those facts which many people aren’t aware of,’ an opinion heard by a Vijayawada resident.

‘All the courage shown by RGV in handling ‘Raktha Charitra’ or ‘Sarkar’ is missed in ‘Vangaveeti.’ The punch and power in central characterizations was nowhere close to his past films. He adopted a non-controversial path by simply putting the final blame and the only witness as Durgamma,’ one more opinion heard. Alone RGV and Devineni Nehru know what went behind the screens.
