One month prior to the high currency notes ban news was announced by Modi, the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu wrote a letter to the PM seeking the notes ban. As and when Modi made the announcement, Nara Lokesh uploaded a copy of the letter sent by CBN to Modi.
It was alleged that CBN owned Heritage Foods shares were sold out to retail giant Kishore Biyani just two days prior to the notes ban announcement of Modi. The opposition party YCP alleged that CBN and his relatives comfortably got their properties invested in foreign banks even before the notes ban announcement.
Hearing these allegations, some of the people suspect if any key person at the union government gave the leakages of notes ban to CBN. The Congress party's leader C Ramachandraiah has an interesting answer for it. CR said the Union Minister of Urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation and Information & Broadcasting, Venkaiah Naidu had leaked high currency ban news to CBN which made the AP CM took care of all of his properties safely invested in right places. Well, it remains to be seen how well the TDP's activists counter CR's allegations.
