One of the heads of Andhra Intellectuals Forum, Chalasani Srinivas appeared to have resorted agitations on the big issues like Samaikyandhra Movement, AP's special status etc. Until today, he could achieve nothing with these agitations as per records except to be focused in media. It was also speculated Chalasani was one of the reasons for the unnecessary strike of AP NGOs for 70 days which led to the loss of thousands of crores to AP.
Hero Sivaji, on the other hand, made his debut as a social activist after Palem's bus tragedy. Afterwards, he took up AP's special status issue and appeared to have fought sincerely seeking AP's special status. But then, he too failed miserably in achieving the goal.
Why both Sivaji and Chalasani failed in their agitations? According to the political analysts, there is a significant reason for the failure of these activists. "During united AP movement, Chalasani gossiped to have worked on behalf of then AP's CM, Kiran Kumar Reddy's political gains. He was also supported by Chandrababu Naidu then and worked against Seemandhra Kendramanthrulu sincerely. And now, both Chalasani And Sivaji are protesting for AP's special status. However, they got their protests confined to BJP only. Although the TDP is said to be the major obstacle for special status given its passive approach on the burning problem, Chalasani, Sivaji and other activists have never questioned them. Moreover, they appear before media, whenever TDP is expected to be targeted by the oppostion parties. And this is said to be the prime reason for the failure of agitations.
Having seen Chalasani And Sivaji's failures, some of the people consider them the heads of 'Andhra Innocents Forum' while some more people opined they were the heads of 'Andhra Biased Forum'.
