Will Mahesh, PVP Forfeit Their Profits?

What’s the ultimate fate of ‘Brahmotsavam?’ How much losses this film is going to incur in its final and closing run? These are the two big subjects seen everywhere kept for discussion in film circles. Of course, final figures cannot be anticipated at this very early time but for sure, there is high probability for buyers to end up with huge losses. As we reported yesterday on Prasad V Potluri and Mahesh Babu should come forward to rescue the buyers, here comes a latest update.

According to information we received, Mahesh pocketed nearly Rs.22 Crores with ‘Brahmotsavam’ both as a hero and production partner. More effective news is, for the first time Prasad V Potluri released a movie on table profits. This clearly means both of them are on safe side with ‘Brahmotsavam.’ Then who are the loss makers? Obviously… they are buyers.

In worst scenario, PVP and Mahesh if forfeit a minimal share of their profits as a compensation for buyers, it would be a great favor. Promising rebates on prices of next film distribution rights cannot be an encouraging move because ‘Brahmotsavam’ business has to close here only.
