How Much Should Sardaar GS Collect?

As the release date of Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' is fast approaching, mega fans exhilaration knows no bounds. On the other hand, buyers and exhibitors appeared to have gone hysteric investing huge sums to acquire the rights of the movie. 

How much should 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' collect to bring cheers to everyone? As we reported earlier, theatrical business of Telugu version of SGS was valued to Rs.80 crores. Satellite, audio, dubbing and various other rights add up Rs.25 crores more which makes a total of 105 crores pre release business done with its Telugu version. 

In this scenario, the movie needs to collect Rs.82-84 crores in equal proportions of its theatrical pre biz done in various areas to be considered as a hit. Hindi version's collections are not included in this estimated number. As the makers, themselves, are releasing the movie through own distribution in North India in 800 screens, the movie should collect Rs.6 cr. to Rs.8 cr. through its Hindi version to be termed as a hit.
