Rajinikanth 2.0 Release Date Locked!?

Super Star Rajinikanth’s new movie 2.0, which will see him again as a Robo is going to release by this year end. According to Kollywood circles, the Shankar directorial is likely to hit the screens on December 12 coinciding with Rajinikanth’s birthday. We hear, Shankar is planning to wrap up the whole shooting part by October with post production works progressing in parallel. In all probability, both Rajini and Shankar are making efforts to release the film on special day.

Very recently, Shankar shot a high voltage, mind blowing action sequence on Chitti, the Robo and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who is playing the villain in this sequel. Produced by Lyca Entertainments banner, 2.0 has Amy Jackson as hero’s love interest and Academy Award winner AR Rahman scoring the music.

Currently, Rajini is allotting the time space equally for 2.0 and ‘Kabali.’ So, 2016 is going to be a special for Super Star Fans with two movies to be released. While ‘Kabali’ is set to lighten the screens in April or May, 2.0 is looking at year end.
