Don't Compare Srimanthudu Collections That Way

Prince Mahesh's 'Srimanthudu' has collected the full run share of around Rs.80 crores and has occupied the position of number two among the top ten grossing films of Tollywood which is just next to 'Baahubali' in Tollywood.

However, it is learnt that some anti fans are trying to degrade the status of 'Srimanthudu'. The movie has just followed the trend set by 'Baahubali' hiking the ticket rates and getting screened in maximum number of benefit shows. Showing this as an example anti fans claim " Had the movie got its run with old ticket rates and no extra benefit shows, it could have collected the share of between Rs.55 crores and Rs.60 crores and might be on par or below par with the collections of 'Race Gurram'."

However, above version of anti fans has severely been lambasted by Mahesh's fans. " These kind of comparisons shall not be made under any circumstances. If at all the comparison is made in this perspective, the collections of all the previous blockbusters should be compared with all the old films of 80s and 90s by cutting down the ticket prices," argued the fans.
