'Jyothilakshmi' First Day Talk

Charmme starrer 'Jyothilakshmi' hit the screens across AP and Telangana today and carried above average reports at the end of its morning shows. Charmme was all the way taking the burden of entire theme as a leitmotif. She was terrific at her histrionics both as a prostitute and as a rebellious woman in this female oriented film. She was at her best in glamour show in the first half while in the second half her performance was in top notch. Satya was cool, handsome and decent in his debut movie. Background score by Sunil Kashyap was superb. 'Jyothilakshmi' title song and other songs are already rocking the chartbusters. After 'Temper', Puri Jagannadh has come up with another revolutionary film. He was good at execution and was terrific at thought provoking dialogues.

Since the second half of the movie goes on in a revolutionary and message oriented note, it appears a little dragging comparing with racy screen play of the first half. Hero Satya's character has no heroism in second half. Brahmanandam could not generate enough laughs. On a whole, the movie has great chances to become a profitable venture as it has been made with a shoestring budget. Let's wait for the collection reports of the movie.
