Can Bunny Achieve a Hat-Trick in Filmfare?

Having accumulated Rs.59 crores share world wide, 'Race Gurram' stood as the biggest grosser of 2014. The blockbuster success of this film betokened the growing popularity of Stylish Star Allu Arjun as a big star. 

And this is the time for various award agencies to present awards for artists and technicians of excellence for the year 2014  Earlier, Nandi Awards were considered to be the best awards. However, the criteria for giving away awards to the artists and technicians has been criticized and it was gossiped that some industry people tried to buy the awards. Finally, the government has stopped presenting the awards for the past three years.

Times Group's 'Filmfare Awards' are considered a bit better than all other awards owing to its transparency. Allu Arjun has been nominated for his performance in 'Race Gurram' apart from Nagarjuna( Manam), Venkatesh( Drushyam), Mohan Babu( Rowdy) and Sharwanand( Run Raja Run). Earlier, Allu Arjun was presented best actor awards for his performances in 'Parugu'( 2008) and Vedam( 2010) by the Filmfare Awards Committee. It remains to be seen whether he achieves a hat-trick bagging Filmfare best actor award again for 'Race Gurram'. The blockbuster success of this movie is an additional advantage for him.
