Vikram and Amy Jackson starrer ‘I’ in direction of Shankar was a magnum opus from producer Aascar Ravichandran. Despite mixed reviews, this film enhanced commercial stamina of South Indian cinema by joining Rs.150+ Crores club. While it has been months the film is lifted from theaters across India, it is still stopping producer Ravichandran from releasing his next of ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ with Kamal Hasan as hero.
On this subject, Kamal vented his anger at a recent press meet in Chennai blaming Ravichandran for delaying the release of ‘Vishwaroopam 2.’ Although tentative date has been finalized as June 2 but nothing is confirmed till now. It’s the same happened for ‘Vishwaroopam’ when Kamal struggled with lot of opposition from local distributors. According to sources, until the time Ravichandran closes all financial accounts of ‘I,’ he can’t be well equipped with needed funds to arrange a grand release of ‘Vishwaroopam 2.’
