After a series of postponements, finally, mega nephew Sai Dharam Tej's 'Rey' is hitting the screens on March 27. YVS Chowady, the director-producer of the move has invested big on this interesting project. He, himself, has revealed, he spent Rs.2 crores for the costumes of the movie.

" The first half of the movie has a backdrop of West Indies and the second half in US backdrop. The movie has to be shown something  like a Caribbean movie in the first half while it has to be shown as a hollywood movie in the second half. To show the discrimination in both the halves, we have approached costume designers like Sai and Shiva in Chennai, Janakiram Vegiraju and Sholapur Ashok in Hyderabad. A special team was also sent to Los Angeles and other foreign locales for costumes designing. As per the script there will be 'Best of the World' dancers competion, wherein variable varieties of costumes are required. We have, altogether, spent Rs.2 crores on costumes alone," said YVS Chowdary.
