These Songs of Ghantasala Difficult to Sing

Ghantasala was one of the all time greatest Indian playback singers who made his strong mark in tollywood as a singer as well as a musician. He was the inspiration for thousands of aspiring singers. He composed music for 125 films and sang around 13000 songs. Among thousands of songs sung by him, a few songs which were enriched with melodious ragas with tough orchestrations and oscillations, are really difficult to be sung. Following two songs are the best examples of those songs.

* SHIVASHANKARI: Pendyala Nageshwara Rao composed this song in Durbari raga and it was sung by Ghantasala as a solo song. This popular song was composed for NTR's 'Jagadekaveeruni Katha'. This song is frequently heard in music concerts and singing contests. It's a great challenge for the singers to sing this song without mistakes. 

* RASIKARAJA THAGUVAARAMU KAAMA: With his majestic voice, Ghantasala gave complete classical touch in this song, which was composed by Pendyala. This song belongs to Akkineni Nageswara Rao's 'Jayabheri'. Wonder what, Ghantasala mesmerizes both the classical singers, music composers and common audiences with his versatile talent. 

* Ghantasala passed away on February 11, 1974. Cinejosh pays tributes to the greatest singer of tollywood.
