Flashback; NTR's Film Flop, Nagarjuna's Film Hit

Nataratna late NTR's 'Ninne Pelladutha' movie was released on 30th August,1968 and got utter flop result at the box office. Though the movie was directed and produced by Janapada Brahma, Vithalacharya, his son, V Srinivas' name was seen as the director and producer during the titles of the movie. Bharathi shared the screen space with NTR in this movie.

King Nagarjuna did not hesitate to get his movie's title confirmed as 'Ninne Pelladutha', which was touted as a romantic and family entertainer. The movie was released on 4 October, 1996 and stood as the biggest blockbuster at the box office. Tabu romanced with Nagarjuna. Creative director Krishna Vamsi wielded the megaphone. Thus, late NTR got a failure and Nagarjuna got a hit with the same title in the history of tollywood.
