20 Years of 'Gharana Mogudu'

Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Gharana Mogudu' movie was released on 9th April, 1992 and recorded as industry hit those days. Some of the achievements set by the movie are as follows.

* 'Gharana Mogudu' was the first Telugu movie to have crossed the mark of Rs.10 crores share.

* It was the first Telugu movie, to run 100 days in 39 direct centers.

* It was the first Telugu movie, to run 50 days in 56 direct centers.

* The industry hit of 'Gharana Mogudu' resulted in getting Rs.1 Crore remuneration for Chiranjeevi to his next movie, 'Aapadbhandhavudu.' He was considered the next after Amitabh Bachchan to have taken Rs.1 crore remuneration (Rajinikanth was nowhere near to Chiru then).
