Vrushakarma Bags Big NonTheatrical Deal

Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming mystical action-adventure Vrushakarma has closed a major pre-release deal. Zee has acquired both satellite and OTT rights for over Rs 48 crore. Directed by Karthik Varma Dandu, the film also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary in the female lead role.
The first glimpse drew huge attention for its grand scale and fantasy theme. Trade reports say the 48 crore deal is among the biggest non-theatrical agreements for a Telugu film in 2026. It follows the strong digital response to Chaitanya’s earlier film Thandel.
Backed by high production values, Vrushakarma blends mythology, mystery and action. Naga Chaitanya appears in a never-seen avatar. The story reportedly explores ancient legends with modern VFX and large set pieces shot across India to enhance the epic feel.
Makers are targeting a Dussehra 2026 theatrical release. With Zee on board for streaming and TV, buzz around Vrushakarma keeps growing. Film circles expect strong box office numbers due to the film’s scale, genre appeal, and Chaitanya’s rising pull in non-theatrical markets.
