Interesting plans of Dashing Director

Will Puri Jagannath plans fructify Puri Jagannadh a once celebrated director in Telugu cinema is seeking a career resurgence after recent disappointments with Liger and Double iSmart. Currently on a break he is reportedly working on multiple scripts. Sources suggest that Puri Jagannadh is developing a sequel to his earlier hit Golimaar which starred Gopichand. He recently presented the idea to Gopichand who is reportedly enthusiastic about collaborating with Puri again.

Bellamkonda Suresh is reportedly the leading contender to produce the Golimaar sequel. Following the failure of Double iSmart Puri has been exploring various script ideas. However with many actors already committed to other projects he has chosen to prioritize the Golimaar sequel. Gopichand is currently considering projects with Jil director Radha Krishna Kumar and Sankalp Reddy but it remains unclear which film will begin production first. Official announcements are pending.

Puri Jagannadh past successes in Tollywood including the blockbuster Pokiri are well documented. He is credited with launching and solidifying the careers of many actors. However like many directors he has experienced a period of decline struggling to replicate his previous successes.

Over the past decade Puri only notable hit has been iSmart Shankar which some consider a fluke. The subsequent releases of Liger and Double iSmart were met with poor reception making it challenging for Puri to secure new projects. He has reportedly struggled to find leading actors in Telugu cinema who are available to collaborate and finding producers has also proven difficult.

Interestingly Puri has reportedly set his sights on Bollywood. Recent reports suggest he has been developing a large scale action story with a team of new writers. He recently traveled to Mumbai and narrated the script to Ranbir Kapoor who achieved superstar status with Animal.

While Ranbir was reportedly impressed with the story he has not yet committed to the project and has asked for more time. A collaboration between Ranbir Kapoor and Puri could be a significant turning point in the director career.

Puri is reportedly determined to direct a film in Bollywood this time around. He is also meeting with other actors and producers and his team remains optimistic that a project will be finalized soon. Additionally reports indicate that Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan is also interested in working with Puri.
