Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3: Director Anees Bazmee Clears the Air on Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani's Involvement
The much-anticipated "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3" has been shrouded in speculation since its trailer release. While fans eagerly anticipated a reunion with Akshay Kumar as the iconic Rooh Baba and a potential appearance by Kiara Advani, director Anees Bazmee has finally addressed the rumors.
In an exclusive interview with India Today Digital, Bazmee confirmed that neither Akshay Kumar nor Kiara Advani will be part of the film. "No, Kiara is not in the film, and neither is Akshay. We have showcased the entire star cast in the trailer. However, if there's any surprise entry, I would like audiences to go to theatres and watch the film to get their answers," he said with a mischievous smile.
The director further emphasized that while the team is well-prepared for the film's release, it's ultimately up to the audience to decide its fate. "If they are happy, we will feel we did our job well," he added.
Bazmee also expressed his excitement for venturing into the horror-comedy genre, a new territory for him. "I have written a number of films and directed a few, but I never got a chance to do anything in the horror space. I gave it a try, and it worked so well," he said, highlighting the success of "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2." He acknowledged the immense pressure to deliver another hit, stating, "I think if one works with heart, honesty, and without any calculations, it's bound to strike a chord with the audience."
"Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3," starring Madhuri Dixit, Tripti Dimri, and Kartik Aaryan, is set to release on November 1st. While the mystery surrounding surprise appearances remains, the anticipation for the film's release continues to build.
