This would mark Suriya's second Hindi film, following his upcoming collaboration with director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. While he had a cameo in Akshay Kumar's "Saifira," "Dhoom 4" would be his first full-fledged Hindi project.

The buzz surrounding "Dhoom 4" has been intensifying in recent months, with YRF reportedly planning a grand revival of the popular franchise. The last installment, "Dhoom 3," was released in 2013.

According to reports, Aditya Chopra, Ayan Mukerji, Vijay Krishna Acharya, and Sridhar Raghavan are collaborating on the film's concept.

While Abhishek Bachchan, who starred in the previous "Dhoom" films, expressed uncertainty about the project's existence in a 2023 interview, fans are eagerly anticipating the return of the iconic franchise.

Suriya's next film, "Kanguva," directed by Siva, is scheduled for a theatrical release later this year. The release date will be announced shortly.
