Ranbir Kapoor takes on a double role, playing both Ram and Parasuram, the fierce avatar of Lord Vishnu. The actor's distinct transformations between these two characters are expected to be a highlight of the film. Adding to the star-studded ensemble, Amitabh Bachchan will lend his iconic voice to Jatayu Pakshi, the mythical bird who bravely faces Ravana.

The first part of the film will showcase Ramasita's marriage and their fourteen-year exile, culminating with the dramatic entry of Ravana. Yash is rumored to be playing the role of Ravana in the second part, further amplifying the film's star power.

Joining Ranbir on this epic journey are Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshmana, who replaced Naveen Polishetty in the role. With the release of "Ramayanam," Ranbir Kapoor will be juggling two multi-part franchises. He is also scheduled to star in "Brahmastra Part 2 Deva," a three-part series, further solidifying his position as a leading figure in Indian cinema.
