"OG," "Harihara Veeramallu," and "Ustad Bhagat Singh" Left in Limbo
Power Star Pawan Kalyan's recent meeting with the producers of "OG," "Harihara Veeramallu," and "Ustad Bhagat Singh" has left the film industry buzzing. While the actor has not confirmed dates for any of these projects, he has reportedly advised the producers to erect sets in Tadepalli rather than plan schedules in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Malaysia, so that he can fastrack his projects, hinting at a possible preference for allocating dates to films that adhere to this condition.
This revelation has thrown the producers into a predicament, as their respective projects are already in various stages of pre-production.
"Ustad Bhagat Singh," directed by Harish Shankar, is currently constructing sets in Hyderabad, while "OG" is planned to be shot primarily in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Malaysia. "Harihara Veeramallu," a historical drama, has already begun building sets in Hyderabad.
The "Tadepalli" condition presents a significant challenge for the filmmakers. "Oji," a gangster story, aims to maintain a realistic feel by utilizing original locations, while "Harihara Veeramallu" requires elaborate sets to recreate historical settings.
Shifting production to Tadepalli for either film would entail substantial changes to their production plans and potentially compromise their artistic vision.
The uncertainty surrounding Pawan Kalyan's dates and the "Tadepalli" set condition have created a tense atmosphere in the industry, leaving the producers of these high-profile projects in a state of limbo. Their next move will be crucial, as they grapple with the complexities of meeting the actor's requirements while adhering to their artistic vision and production schedules.
