Pan India Rebel Star Prabhas, who is currently enjoying his Rs 1000 Crore Blockbuster, 'Kalki 2898 AD' is gearing up for his next cinematic adventure under the direction of Hanu Raghavapudi. The acclaimed director, known for his expertise in crafting intricate love stories, has woven a unique script that seamlessly merges themes of friendship and love within a classic war setting in Sita Ramam.
The upcoming project has generated significant buzz for its intriguing plot, promising a perfect blend of emotional depth and high-octane action, showcasing Prabhas in a new light. Reports suggest that the film which was set in pre independence era will showcase Prabhas as British Soldier. Raghavapudi is keen on casting Mrunal Thakur, who previously collaborated with him on Sita Ramam, in the female lead role.
Hanu Raghavapudi has spent considerable time perfecting the script, which has received Prabhas's nod of approval. The actor has allocated dates for a test photoshoot, scheduled to take place after his return from holiday. The film's official Muhurath is slated for the end of 2024, marking the beginning of a project that may precede Prabhas's highly anticipated "Spirit".
The film, tentatively titled "Fauji", promises to deliver a cinematic experience combining Raghavapudi's storytelling prowess with Prabhas's commanding screen presence. With a focus on love and friendship set against a tumultuous war backdrop, this film is poised to add a significant chapter to Prabhas's illustrious career. Vishal Chandrasekhar has already composed three songs for the film, which is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
