He showed the scenes in a visually appealing manner. The music of Tejaswi Poornachandra is good. The background score of Saumit Deshmukh is good and added value to the narration. The first half ends on a decent note with the cat and mouse game between the cops and the rebels. The second half continues in the same way with the introduction of new characters and the pre climax connects chords with all with the film finally ending on a predictable note. The predictability in the story, illogical scenes and few boring elements undid all the hard work.The cinematography of Mukesh is good. He showed the period look in the story in a appealing and relatable manner. Anirudh Ravichander's tunes for the songs are just ok. The songs had a montage touch. But he elevated the scenes with his unique and terrific background score. He showed variety in the background music. He showed his creativity by scoring background in a poetic manner. Prasanna. To the top of it, the over usage of Korean language puts off the viewers. The interval sequence and the possession of the spirit excites all, setting the tone for the second half.The second half's gangster role is dragged to the core. While few comedy scenes involving Varun Tej and Satya evoked laughter, others looked forced. The climax takes everyone by surprise and though looked different didn't leave the desired impact. The story ends in a funny way with the lead to the sequel.Thaman's music offered nothing new. The songs are few and didn't make much impact. Thaman's background music followed the same template. He however with the background music elevated the scenes. Manojh Reddy with his Cinematography showed the scenes in a realistic way. CGI and VFX looked subpar. He drew inspiration from them and tried to tell them in a realistic way.The narration starts in an interesting manner and the director does well balancing both sides of the views. The first three episodes keep the interest levels intact, but when one expects it to reach the next level with intense courtroom arguments, the director loses steam.From then on everything turns repetitive, testing the patience of the viewers. The slow pace of the narration ends up irritating the people. Dialogues turnout to be pretty ordinary. The expected emotions and drama in the courtroom arguments goes missing completely. Even the character arcs are not created properly after the initial introduction. The series and the narration lacked the required twists and turns.The first four episodes are predictable and offer no real twists. The fifth episode had a small twist but it did not excite anyone. While many expected the investigation to take off to new heights, the director Karna concentrated on highlighting the emotions and this impacted the pace of the narration. The screenplay went for the toss and this put off the viewers disconnecting them completely.To the top of it, the uneven pace, convoluted screenplay and investigation detailing instead of showing in action, concluding in dialogues, turned out to be a huge disappointment. What started as a thrilling ride turned out to be a bumpy ride in the end.The cinematography of Veda Vyas Gottipati showed the scenes in a natural and impactful manner. He used the camera angles and color combinations to maximum impact to show night scenes in an effective and realistic way. Anil Palasa's editing turned out to be a mixed bag. After a point of time, people look towards the exit door for respite. Even the entry of Mohan Babu doesn't improve the narration and add value to the proceedings.The music tuned GV Prakash Kumar tuned offered nothing new. The role is tailormade for him and he did full justice. However there is nothing much to rave about is role and performance. He followed the same template mannerisms, dialogue delivery and style statement and body language. After the passage of time, one gets a feeling that he just passed through the motions and artificiality crept in.Pooja Hegde played the female lead and she did what was required from her. Her role is mostly insignificant. Mamitha Baiju played the &nbsp;all important role that is pivotal to the story and the proceedings. She is just ok with her performance. Though he claimed that the film is not the remake of Bhagawanth Kesari and he took few scenes, most of the first half is similar to Bhagawanth Kesari except for few changes here and there. The first half starts with Vijay trying to raise his daughter without any fear and then the narration shifts to the introduction of the antagonist. The entire antagonist episode and there after looks silly and ridiculous to the core.The substandard and poor graphics turned the scenes into a tedious watch. the first half turns out to be stale with no real high elements. The second half continues in the similar manner and the core soul and emotion of Bhagawanth Kesari's Beti Ko Sher Banao goes for a toss. The pre climax and climax turns out to be childish with video game like elements. One gets a feeling that even video games or TV serials have better graphics.Anirudh Ravichander is known for his impactful works and he tuned the music and composed BGM for the film. However it turned out to be extremely disappointing as the songs failed to entertain and also not shot in an appealing manner. His background music failed to make any impact. He couldn't be blamed as the narration did not give him chance to do so. The editing of Pradeep Raghav turned out to be miserable. There are many scenes that tested the patience of the viewers. Had he used the editing scissors there wouldn't have been any film at all. The cinematography of Satyan Sooran became a disappointing affair. The dialogues failed to connect chords and most of them are politically motivated. H.Vinoth got the golden opportunity to direct Vijay's last film. Vijay put in sincere efforts and Vinoth drawing inspiration from Balakrishna's Bhagawanth Kesari came up with Jana Nayakudu. Instead of elevating the emotions to the next level and better than the original, Vinoth concentrated on elevating the heroism of Vijay and also promote his political ideology. This resulted in the film turning out into a half baked one. Even the elevation scenes failed to make an impact and Vinoth shockingly killed the soul of the original. He failed completely with his story, screenplay and direction. The so called changes he made to the original instead of adding value, diluted the essence of the film and the message it intended to give to the society. Jana Nayakudu is touted to be the farewell film for Vijay but it turned out to be a failed farewell. He deserved better rather than this crap. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2 rating for Jana Nayakudu.

The narration is stretched and screenplay is dragged to the core on a small point that hero cannot express his feelings for more than two and half hours.The film's convenient narration with Priety Mukhundhan's character disappearing surprisingly disappoints all. The convenient screenplay results in various characters appearing and disappearing as per the whims and fancies ot the director. The story offers nothing new and it is dragged completely with the pre decided runtime. Rajeevan (Prithviraj Sukumaran), a government employee leads a happy life with his wife Meera (Parvathy Thiruvothu) and two daughters.However, his happy life gets rocked when money heist hits him hard without his involvement. He performed well as a middle class husband and father and came up with realistic and natural performance. He decided to thrill the views with money heist story. The story revolves around robberies and scams. He managed to excite all with the thrilling elements with the scenes before and after the robberies. He highlighted how the opinions of people and middle class family changes in the backdrop of money heist.Interest levels increase with the starting scene of the bank robbery which takes viewers into the story. However later the introduction of characters slowed the pace of the narration. But the twists and turns involving the lead character and others and the negative shades increases the curiosity levels. The police investigation and others in the first half brings and end setting the tone for the exciting second half.However, the second half goes for a toss with the hero kidnap scene and various sub plots. While the first half is natural, the second half had shades of artificiality and illogical scenes. Couple of scenes in the second half turns it into a decent one.Ramess' Editing could have been far better as there are many scenes that slowed the pace of the film especially in the second half. Cinematography showed the scenes in a natural and realistic manner and Dinesh Purushottaman followed the standard template and took viewers into the story. JakesBejoy's background score is in sync with the story and he managed to keep the scenes the intensity levels intact. Latest buzz in the industry that has come as a storm for regular movie buffs is that Balakrishna is all set to become Lord Rama while Nayanathara is to become Sita Devi for the remake of evergreen classic ‘Lava Kusa’ to be directed by Bapu.
Music of the movie is to be composed by Ilayaraja and this lucky producer is known to be Yalamanchili Sai, a close aide to Balayya. If everything goes right, muhurath of the movie will be held on October 3. Let us wait for official confirmation very soon.
