Dvv Danayya walked out of Thalapathy Vijay project. Leading Telugu producer Dvv Danayya's much-anticipated foray into Tamil cinema with superstar Vijay has hit a roadblock due to creative differences. Despite sharing a good rapport, Danayya has decided to step away from the project, which was initially envisioned as a big-budget action-adventure film.
Danayya, known for producing the magnum opus "RRR" with Jr NTR and Ram Charan, had been eager to collaborate with Vijay and had even brought Tamil director H Vinoth on board. However, things didn't progress as planned, leading to a mutual parting of ways.
This development comes at a time when collaborations between the Telugu and Tamil film industries are on the rise. Vijay's recent successful collaboration with Telugu producer Dil Raju for "Varisu" demonstrated the potential for cross-industry projects. Danayya's ambitious plan to produce a high-budget film with Vijay aimed to further strengthen this trend.
While this project may not be moving forward, both Dvv Danayya and Vijay have exciting ventures on the horizon. Danayya is currently busy producing the Rs 200 crore action film "OG" with Pawan Kalyan and "Saripodha Sanivaram" with Nani and SJ Suryah. Meanwhile, Vijay continues to be one of the most sought-after actors in the South Indian film industry.
