Amyra Dastur's journey in the entertainment industry began as a model in commercials, eventually leading to her Hindi cinema debut in Manish Tiwary's romantic drama, "Issaq," alongside Prateik Babbar. Demonstrating her versatility, she ventured into Tamil cinema with "Anegan," directed by K. V. Anand, where she starred alongside actor Dhanush.

Venturing into international cinema, Amyra made waves with her first international project, "Kung Fu Yoga," sharing the screen with the legendary Jackie Chan. The film released in India on 3 February 2017, further establishing her presence on the global stage.

In the Bollywood film "Kaalakaandi," directed by Akshat Verma and starring Saif Ali Khan, Amyra showcased her versatility by shooting for an upbeat dance number with lively lyrics, choreographed by Adil Malik. Expanding her horizons, she marked her debut in Telugu cinema with "Manasuku Nachindi," directed by Mahesh Babu's sister.
