Vijay emphasized the importance of the Tamil Nadu government taking proactive measures to prevent the enforcement of the CAA within the state. He called upon political leaders to ensure that the law does not take effect in Tamil Nadu, asserting the need to safeguard the interests and rights of all citizens.

Furthermore, Vijay has announced his decision not to participate in the Lok Sabha polls but has confirmed his intention to contest in the upcoming Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, which are scheduled to take place in the next two years.
