Rana on his rivalry with Ram Charan, Allu Arjun. When asked about any ego or insecurity between him, Allu Arjun, and Ram Charan, Rana Daggubati smiled gently and responded, "See, because we're not running the same race. We're running very different races. Everybody has a different cinema that they pick, and everybody has seen success in a very different form. What are we competing on? It's a certain number at the box office, that is the only tangible thing. But there are so many other aspects we'll be trying to work on."
He continued, mentioning a recent conversation with Allu Arjun about "Pushpa 1," where they discussed what they could have done better in the film. Rana emphasized that these discussions, held months after a film's release, whether successful or not, help them grow.
Rana highlighted the importance of post-release discussions, noting that once a film is out in the world, after about 30-40 days of discussions about its making, the outcome becomes very productive. He mentioned that these conversations are not limited to just the three of them (himself, Allu Arjun, and Ram Charan), but also include actors like Nani and Adivi Sesh, who make cinema very different from each other. According to Rana, all of them have had such conversations at some point in their careers, reflecting on their work and seeking ways to improve.
