Lal Salaam banned in Kuwait. Director Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth's eagerly awaited film "Lal Salaam" faces a setback as it will not see a release in Kuwait.

Reports suggest that the decision stems from the film's exploration of sensitive themes related to religion. "Lal Salaam" is known to delve into the realms of sports, communal tensions, and religious dynamics.

This news has come as a surprise to Rajinikanth's fans worldwide, especially as the film was poised for release on February 9th. Directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the movie stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in leading roles, with the Superstar himself making an extended cameo appearance.

With its censor certification now complete, "Lal Salaam" boasts a runtime of 151 minutes (2 hours and 31 minutes). The narrative unfolds against the backdrop of a seemingly inconsequential incident during a cricket match, which escalates into a catalyst for communal discord, plunging the village into turmoil. Adding to the allure, legendary cricketer Kapil Dev makes a special appearance, while Rahman's musical compositions enhance the film's emotional depth and intensity.
