Shahid Kapoor As Chhatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj In His Next

Shahid Kapoor is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. He got his much needed break with Kabir Singh which amassed close to Rs 300 Crores gross before pandemic. Then he starred in Jersey which won accolades but failed to rake in moolah. Shahid Kapoor is currently gearing up for his next romantic drama Teri Bataon Mein Uljha Jiya with Kriti Sanon. 

Reports are circulating regard his next. It is being said that the actor is in talks with OMG 2 director Amit Rai for his next film titled Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. As per Bollywood reports, Shahid has been approached for the role. Shahid is in advanced talks with OMG 2 director, Amit Rai for a historic based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film will be produced by Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde and Rajesh Bahl of Wakaoo Films.

The film will depicts the story of one of the bravest chapters from the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the makers are looking to partner with a top studio before proceeding with the pre-production process. An official announcement is awaited this regard.

Shahid's next Teri Bataon Mein Uljha Jiya, is all set to hit the theatres on February 9. It is made as a lovestory between Shahid and a humanoid played by Kriti Sanon. Makers called it an Impossible Lovestory. The trailer and songs have created curiosity about the film among the audiences.
