Is NTR Decision To Do War 2 A Miscalculation

NTR is undoubtedly a crowd pulling mass hero, whose status is still a distant dream for many young heroes. Irrespective of results, his films draws huge openings, frenzy and we can feel the vibe of pre release festive atmosphere for all his films. This can be possible only if a hero has immense stardom especially among the masses. With RRR, NTR got wide recognition beyond boundaries. Infact he even got familiar at global level. 

On the other hand, Ram Charan too earned fame for his portrayal as Ram in RRR. Both, NTR and Ram Charan made their attempts to expand their boundaries to Bollywood with the recognition they earned with RRR.  Both of them trying to make their immediate films, a Pan India affair but rooted in regional language, Telugu. News is Ram Charan is being in discussions with Raj Kumar Hirani for a direct Hindi film so that he can earn solid market there too.

Similarly, NTR too gave his body to start opposite Hrithik Roshan in War 2. Reports suggest that NTR is doing antagonist role but equal to Hrithik's character. Initially when the news broke out, it sounds exciting . But, looking at currently scenario in Bollywood, it would be risky for NTR to proceed doing War 2. 

After Shahrukh Khan's Pathaan, no big event or franchise film did massive business. This includes Tiger 3 which resulted in dismal performance. Recently Siddharth Anand who delivered Pathaa. Joins Deepika for Hrithik Starrer Fighter. The film was released for Republic day. Even though the reviews are encouraging, the boxoffice numbers doens't added up. All these signs indicate danger Bella for NTR for his Bollywood entry. Let's hope he retrospect the decision and take correct decision.
