Lucifer 2 Empuraan To Have Mahira Khan

'Lucifer' headlined by Mohan Lal in Prithviraj Sukumara 's directorial debut was talk os south Indian cinema when it was released. The intense political drama has created several records in Mollywood. It was later remade in Telugu with Chiranjeevi as hero titled 'Godfather'. Sequel to Lucifer, 'Lucifer 2 Empuraan' was announced and recently kick started its shoot.

L2E - Empuraan, is one of the much awaited films. Enhancing the hype surrounding the project, latest news spread among the movie circles. It is rumoured  that Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is casted as the female lead opposite Mohanlal. Mahira Khan made her debut in Bollywood with "Raees" alongside Shah Rukh Khan.

The official announcement is yet to be made from the team and Mahira. Touted to be an action flick, L2E is the second part of Blockbuster ‘Lucifer’. The movie is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and is scripted by Murali Gopy.

Mohanlal next involves a film with director Jeethu Joseph, ‘Neru’ which is set to release on December 21. Mohan Lal also has the most awaited project ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban’ directed by acclaimed director Lijo Jose Pellisery which is releasing in the month of March 2024.
