Thalaivar 171 Too Has LCU Connection

Talented Director Lokesh Kanagaraj who made everyone heads turn with his directorial 'Kaithi' starring Karthi and then he delivered a decent hit with 'Master' starring Thalapathy Vijay. But, it is 'Vikram' starring Kamal Haasan and the ensemble cast includes Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi and Suriya in a guest role as rolex has made the film Tamil Industry Hit collecting Rs 500 Crores. 

'Vikram' reignited Kamal's career and now he is doing many big budgeted  promising films. With an intelligent screenplay, Lokesh managed to link 'Vikram' to 'Khaidi' creating Lokesh Cinematic Universe, adding more and more characters to his LCU. His next Leo with Thalapathy Vijay was also a part of LCU. Despite LEO fetching mixed reviews, the film managed to cross RS 500 crores. 

Another interesting news is Lokesh wants to bring Thalaivar 171 to LCU by connecting it with 'Vikram'. Kamal Haasan already gave his nod for the film. 'Vikram' was also connected to LEO and Kamal Haasan made a brief appearance during its climax. As per reports, Kamal will be seen for around seven minutes in Thalaivar 171. 

Thalaivar 171 to kickstart in March next year and will be done by the end of the year. Anirudh is composing the music. Sun Pictures which has recently delivered a blockbuster 'Jailer' with Rajinikanth is bank-rolling the latest project.
